FAMILY LAW
This unit of the Superior Court encompasses filings relating to dissolution of marriage, child custody and visitation, paternity, family support, and restraining orders. The daily calendar of Family Law matters is heard in Department 32 by the Family Law Commissioner.
Department 32 also handles short cause trials at 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Dissolution trials lasting one day or less are calendared in Department 21 for assignment every Monday at 8:30 a.m. Dissolution trials longer than one day are calendared in Department 32 for assignment every Tuesday through Friday at 8:45 a.m.
