Judges Launch New Community Training

Court Community Leadership and Liaison Program
September 20, 2001 - April 4, 2002

Representatives from the ethnic, immigrant and disabled communities in San Joaquin County are about to begin a one-of-a-kind training program. The Court-Community Leadership Academy is designed to equip people to serve as active liaisons between the court and their communities.

After completing the 17-session curriculum, graduates will be able to answer questions on the justice system - or know how to find the answers. Graduates will also meet regularly with San Joaquin County Superior Court judges to discuss court-related problems and concerns in their communities.
