  Effective March 10, 2008, we will no longer accept reciprocal filings. Parties must e-file their small claims petition with the correct Branch of the San Joaquin Superior Court.

  NOTICE REGARDING E-FILING AND NEW FEES

  If you file a small claims, by electronic filing, during the last week of December 2005, you may be charged the new fee that goes into effect January 1, 2006, depending on when your case is actually accepted for filing. There are various turn-a-round times for acceptance, depending on whether there are any problems with the paperwork. If your documents are not actually accepted till after Jan. 1, the new fees will be in effect.

  You can inquire as to the new statewide fee schedule at the Administrative Office of the Courts website at http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/courtadmin/civilfees.htm or you may pick up a fee schedule at any of our branches.
