Failure to Appear
Failure to appear in court as promised when you signed the citation will result in the following action:
- A Civil Assessment Fee of up to $315.00 will be added.
- The case will be sent to a collection agency.
- You will be charged with Failure to Appear, which is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine and jail.
- DMV will be notified and they will withold issuance or renewal of your driver's license and suspend your driving privilege until the citation is cleared with the court.
