It is the mission of Drug Court to
keep a
defendant in the treatment program
and drug/crime
free, as long as possible while at
the same
time protecting public safety.
The program imposes an assortment of
obligations
upon the defendant based upon his/her
own
particular needs. Some of the conditions
that may be imposed are community service,
urinalysis, treatment, GED requirement,
job
training and the obligation to seek
and maintain
gainful employment, among others. The
goal
is to graduate a clean and sober, responsible,
productive and employed member of our
community.
