Family Court Services
Family Court Services provides mediation
and investigation in family law cases
when
separating or divorcing parents cannot
agree
on a child sharing plan. Family Court
Services
is also responsible for providing investigations
of proposed guardians, who are blood
relatives
of children whose parents are deceased
or
are otherwise incapable of meeting
the Best
Interest of the Children (Probate Code
1513).
This office provides a monthly public
orientation
meeting with general legal and psychological
information regarding child custody
and family
court matters.
